Reviving the blog

So obviously I was emotional about the Haiti disaster and had to vent. Real life and a lot of other demands on my attention pretty much stalled the blog project. That and my realization that I am the only one reading what I wrote...Here goes round two. On the off chance you are reading this, thanks for being a mob of one.
